Mission Statement

Welcome! This web site came about following a discussion I had with my brother, Wayne, about old school days in the 1960's at Manor House Boarding School in Kitale, Kenya.

We reminised about many fond memories of our time en route to school by train from Uganda and, at school - much of it hilarious in retrospect. We started to wonder where past students and teachers were today and, what they might be doing. For whatever reason, very many of us have spread across the globe, often ending up with fascinating careers and, in interesting or exotic locations.

However, most of us have lost contact with one another. Hence, this web site was set up to help past students and teachers reminisce, read about, and regain contact with one another.

Our first contact was with Patrick Peacey who lives in Ipswitch, UK. Luckily, he has led us to several students and, provided much of the information and many of the unique images presented on this site.

If you are a former staff member or student of the school, please contact us. We would love to hear from you to find out what you have done since you left school and, what you are doing and were you live now. We will only put on this site any information that you authorize. If you know of past 'inmates', please let us know about them!
